MamaViet!

Huong Giang- Marrickville Road, Marrickville

Talk about a GREAT Vietnamese Restaurant! Cheap and Cheery!
I frequent this place on Marrickville Road at least 2-3 times a week.. it's cheaper than cooking at home!

I recommend:
- Salt and pepper calamari- now this is a treat.  The Calamari comes covered in a light batter with chillies!  The salt and pepper is a dry mixture on the side that you squeeze the lemon juice into and then you dip away!

- Roll your own, or what I call 'ROLLIES'
These are basically Fresh Spring Rolls with your choice of BBQ chicken (my fave), BBQ Pork or the Sugar Cane Prawn...
You dunk your rice paper into hot water and then line it with rice noodles, meat, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and mint.  ROLL and then dunk in the chili sauce! Absolute winner.  Best shared with 2 or 3 ppl. BYO is Free and a MUST- bottle'o is 3 shops down.

Lastly you must try the Beef Pho- Share it between 2-3 ppl as it is MASSIVE and cheap as.  Get your lemon, bean sprouts, mint and fresh chilli and away you go....

Price Range:  Cheap/ Moderately Cheap/ Reasonable/ Expensive
